W&A Engineering is proud to welcome Chelsea Hannan to our team of dedicated professionals building better communities for our clients across the southeast! The newest member of our Nashville team, Chelsea joins our Tennessee Civil Engineering department as a Project Manager working to create innovative design solutions for our clients across the country.
Having earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technical University, Chelsea joins W&A with a strong background in civil design, having worked with communities all across the southeast on residential, mixed-use, municipal, religious facilities, athletic facilities, and many more.
At her core, Chelsea is a community builder dedicated to leaving things better than she found them future generations.
“I love when my work allows me to give back to a community with projects the entire town will enjoy and be proud of for years to come,” Chelsea said.
In her free time, Chelsea loves to crochet and knit while watching The Office on repeat with her two-year-old daughter and pilot husband. She’s also super excited about the Nashville office’s proximity to her favorite Italian restaurant, Coco’s Italian Market!
“West Nashville is a great place for good food, but I like living just outside the city and enjoying a taste of country life,” Chelsea added. “I regularly see flocks of turkey and deer in my wooded back yard, and find it a peaceful getaway from the city.”
As far as what she is most excited about in joining the BCC team, Chelsea cites W&A’s emphasis on personal care and work/life balance as a key contributor.
“In my few days at W&A, it has already become clear that the culture is setup to help facilitate a work/life balance that supports me as both a woman engineer and a mom,” she said.
